Delete your account
& your data.
You're always in control of your data. Here's exactly how to delete your Roster account, what gets removed, and how to ask us to do it if you can't get into the app.
Delete it yourself, in the app
The fastest way — takes under a minute.
- Open Roster and go to the Profile tab.
- Tap Settings, then scroll to the Account section.
- (Optional) Tap Export My Data first to download a copy of everything.
- Tap Delete Account (shown in red).
- Confirm twice — we ask you to confirm to prevent accidental deletion.
- Watch the progress as we permanently remove your data, then you're signed out.
Deletion is permanent and cannot be undone. Export your data first if you want to keep a copy.
Can't access the app?
Request deletion by email — we'll handle it for you.
Email help@myrosterapp.com from the email address on your account, with the subject "Account Deletion Request."
To help us verify it's really you, include the email or username on your Roster account. We'll confirm and complete the deletion, and email you when it's done.
We process verified deletion requests within 30 days, and usually much sooner.
What gets deleted
When you delete your account, we permanently remove:
- Your profile — name, username, photos, and settings.
- Your roster — every partner entry, note, timeline, gift, and photo.
- Your messages — conversations and chat history.
- Your posts & comments — anything you shared on the feed.
- Your media — uploaded images and screenshots in storage.
- Your scan & safety data — scan records and check-in history.
- Your subscription record and security/analytics events.
- Your sign-in account — your authentication record is removed.
Some records may be retained only where the law requires it (for example, certain transaction or safety logs), and only for as long as required. Manage or cancel a paid subscription in your App Store or Google Play settings — deleting your account doesn't automatically cancel store-billed subscriptions.
Not a Roster member?
If you believe your information was added by someone else.
Roster lets members keep private notes about people they're dating. If you think your details were submitted and you'd like them reviewed or removed, email help@myrosterapp.com with the subject "Data Removal Request."
Include the identifier you're concerned about (for example, a phone number or social handle) so we can locate and remove matching entries. We process these requests within 30 days.
