No — you don't meet new people on Roster. It's a private relationship manager for organizing the dating life you already have, plus safety tools.
How does cross-roster scanning work?
You save the people you're seeing to your private roster. With one tap, Roster checks the identifiers you saved — phone, Instagram, and more — against other members' private lists using privacy-preserving tokens created on your device. If the same person also appears elsewhere, you get a neutral, anonymous heads-up. An overlap is a possible coincidence, not proof of anything — you decide what to do next.
Can someone see that I added them?
No. Identifiers are hashed on your device, and overlap alerts only appear when two members independently add the same person. Connections are anonymous and require mutual opt-in.
Is my data private?
Your roster vault is encrypted, never sold, and protected by granular privacy controls. Messages, posts, and comments are moderated for safety and are not end-to-end encrypted. You can export or permanently delete your account anytime.
